Tile Plus operates out of San Jose, California and services the southern part of San Francisco's Bay Area including: Los Gatos, Saratoga, Los Altos, Mountain View, Palo Alto, San Mateo, Daly City, Fremont and Milpitas and Morgan Hill.

Our history.
Tile Plus The Company
Founded in 1987 by David Amsalem, we were originally called Golden Hand Tile. Then from 1989 to 1991, we were called Isra-Tile. In 1992, we were renamed Tile Plus and adopted the slogan, Where Tile Becomes an Art. David continued working as a sole proprietor until 1997, where Tile Plus was incorporated.
The Founder & The Team
David is a self-taught tile contractor who discovered a passion for turning raw tile into an aesthetic work of art. Early in his career, around 1991, he hired Fredy as his helper and taught him the trade. In the years since, Fredy has become a master tile setter, and trained many other tile setters. Now Fredy is the Project Manager, assisting David in maintaining company operations.

In 1996, Teri decided to join her husband, David, and has since been instrumental in keeping finances and legal aspects run correctly.
Not long after, Maribel joined the company and has remained a steadfast and productive team member running the office place. We have two key estimators, Ernie Watkins and Ariel Pena who ensure our customers are serviced to the best of our abilities. We also have an expert crew of 20+ tile setters and helpers to tile your home. |
