INSTALL BATHROOM FLOORS,
BACKSPLASHES & VANITIES
Tile your bathroom countertop, backsplash and floor exactly the way you want. Our team at Tile Plus will offer you design advice, tips and more.
Bathroom Floor Tile Work
The floor tile in your bathroom is a straightforward job where we ensure the following:
- Your floor is level—if not we will float it. This ensures you have no lippage—or differences in elevation.
- If your floor is already level, we will seal it against moisture with an impervious cement board like Hardiebacker.
- We then install the tile using high-quality thinset. Thinset is a cement used to adhere the tile to the floor.
- Lastly we will grout the joints between your tiles to ensure a smooth, uniform finish.
Bathroom Slab Vanities
Your slab vanity is the keystone in your bathroom, locking together your bathroom's aesthetic. While stone vanities are huge and cumbersome, Tile Plus takes the brunt of the work off your shoulders leaving you to enjoy your new bathroom.
Slab countertops have an advantage over tiled countertops in that they are seamless and allow for easy wipe-up—no scrubbing grout.

Bathroom Tile Countertops
Less common in newer homes are tiled countertops. Often found in homes from the 80s, they have been making a slow comeback. Sensibly, homeowners have also been choosing darker grout over lighter ones to avoid a constant scrubbing struggle.
Bathroom Backsplashes
Installing a backsplash is one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to improve the overall look and feel of your bathroom.

Two suggestions for you to consider:
- Decide on a length for your new backsplash—typically you want it to be the length of your countertop or if you have a pedestal sink, cover your whole wall.
- Decide on a height for your backsplash—typical height for a backsplash is 6" but you can play with that figure based on other components on your wall say for example: a mirror, electrical outlets or a window.
